Education and Outreach

When your passion focuses on the environment, you are bound to encounter quite a lot of bad news. Studies have shown, however, that constantly drowning in little sadnesses leaves us frozen, doing less, rather than more.

Recognizing a need for news about Coral Reef Conservation which shares the truth, but with a side of optimism, we launched the REEF Roundup Podcast, where we interview amazing people who are doing exciting work to save the ocean for future generations. After a successful first season, the podcast was picked up by the Pacific Radio Network, and we are now available on community radio stations across the US and Europe, in addition to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your favorite shows. You can find us by searching for REEF Roundup. Please also see if there is a Pacifica Radio Station in your area, and ask them to stay airing the REEF Roundup show!

We are committed to continue building online and in-person educational opportunities, which are low and no-cost, so that dive professionals and anyone who cares about a healthy, beautiful ocean can increase their knowledge and skills, enabling them to be part of the solution.
