Scientific Research Platform

Just as scientists apply for access to a powerful telescope or particle accelerator, we are working for a future when marine scientists will apply to tap into the vast network of recreational scuba professionals who are trained by REEF Scuba. The ocean is too big and the mission too important to leave it all to the amazing but too few ocean scientists.

Online trainings will be created in partnership with REEF Scuba for specific projects, ensuring the validity of the data collected, and the interventions taken. Rather than studies with sample sizes in the hundreds, the REEF Scuba platform will allow scientists to survey and do proactive field research and intervention work in tens of thousands of locations.
